When:Saturday, June 13 at 10:00am - 10:00pm
Where: Bellevue High School
What:Join Bellevue High Schoolers and those in the local community in the fight against cancer! This is an overnight event that is basically like field day when you were younger! There'll be sports, music, food, and of course, running (themed laps too!). Unlike most Relay for Life events, this year it will be 12 hours, unlike the usual 24. You do not need to stay the entire time. EVERYONE IS INVITED.
Relay for Life provides services for cancer patients such as providing them with a 24/7 toll-free hotline, rides to and from treatment, and partnering with the American Cancer Society in order to fund research for new cancer-fighting drugs. Because of Relay for Life and its partnership with the ACS, there has been a 20% decline in death rate to cancer since 1991. Relay for Life is especially significant in the Pacific Northwest Region because of major cancer research centers located here such as Fred Hutch and UW Medical Center.
Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.
